Statement of Belief
We believe that God created the earth, the living creatures, as well as man. We believe that man is NOT a product of evolution.
We believe that God created man (Adam) to live forever, but due to Adam's rebelliousness, a curse was placed on mankind and physical death became a reality.
We believe that it pleased God to send His only begotten Son, to live, to die and to be raised again from the dead, to reconcile (reunite) mankind to Himself.
We believe that for the joy set before Him (giving mankind hope and seeing mankind reunited to His Father), Jesus endured the pain and shame.
We believe that Jesus was falsely accused, tried, beaten, crucified, and that on the 3rd day He rose from the dead and showed Himself with infallible proofs for 40 days.
We believe that Jesus is presently seated at the right hand of the Father, until such time as the Father deems appropriate for Him to return and draw us up to Himself.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and are therefore in errant (without error).
We believe that Mark 16:15 - 18 (NKJV) "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. It is our belief that this not only refers to the First Century Church, but present day believers as well. Jesus said in Mark 16:17-"these signs will follow them that believe - meaning everyone who dares to believe Him!
We believe that the spiritual gifts listed in 1Corinthians 12:8-10 are all for TODAY!!! As follows:
1. Word Of Wisdom 6. Prophesy
2. Word Of Knowledge 7. Discerning Of Spirits
3. Faith 8. Different Kinds Of Tongues
4. Gifts Of Healing 9. Interpretation Of Tongues
5. Working Of Miracles
We also believe that Jesus instructed the Church to baptize those who receive Him as Lord, as well as to take communion (as often as one desires) in remembrance of Him.
We also believe that we will be held accountable to Him, for our every heart felt thought, spoken word, and our every action.
Lastly, we believe that only those who endure until the end will be saved.
