Everything we have need of: in terms of knowledge, direction, provision, all can be found by following the lead of The Holy SPRIT. The Bible informs us that The Holy Sprit, He has Active Presence. In every mention of Him (The Holy Sprit) in Scripture, I’ve found Him involved, active, working, assisting   in furthering God’s plan on earth.

Turn with me, if you will in your Bibles to: Genesis 1:1 and 2 (NKJV) It states:” In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Sprit of God was hovering over the face of the earth.”

Here the Word of God is clearly indicating that The Holy Sprit was Active Source hovering. What relevance does this passage of Scripture have on our lives? Well, there was a time when your life and mine for that matter was without form (structure, undeveloped).

There was a time when we had a void (a sense of worthlessness) in our lives. There was a time when we lived in deep darkness (despair, sadness, hopelessness). Listen: It would help all of us to remember, darkness is anywhere God is not (glorified). Darkness is a thing God did not supply (“My God shall supply our/my according to his riches in Glory by Christ Jesus”).

That’s the bottom line? God created something from nothing, in your life, and mine as well! We have to learn to take steps of our faith and truly unlearn the ways of the world and actively desire and learn the working of the Holy Spirit.

Christians want to learn how to get a mate, a job, clothing, a car, a nice home with a pool and a view from God, but not many want to learn how to live holy, which can only be attained by following the lead of the holy spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Source of Power and Strength, the very stuff we need; He possess

Judges 3:9 and 10” When the children of Israel cried out to the lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for the children of Israel, who delivered them Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother. The Sprit of the lord came upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord delivered…”

God is not a respecter of persons. As He was with Caleb (the one who stood up with Joshua after scouting out the Promise land-saying we be well able – you know the one, the one who later said in his eighties, give me that mountain), so was He (the Holy Sprit) with Caleb’s nephew. The Holy Sprit will provide the strength (energy) you need it. The Holy Sprit will supply the power necessary for your VICTORY!

I really love the work of The Holy Sprit, but this next work I especially enjoy discussing. Turn with me in your Bible to Ezekiel 36:25-29 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shell be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new sprit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Sprit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your father; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.”

We are clear in our understanding that God was initially to the children of Israel. However, He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Those of us, who believe in Jesus, have the same access to this working of the Holy Spirit. The word informs us, that The Holy Spirit will sprinkle clean water on us. The Holt Spirit will handle this process.

How many times have you said, I’m going to do this or that only to fall flat on your face? We need help. The word says He will give us a new heart. No more a heart that reasons or ponders the things of the world. No more, will your heart, my heart be reservoir full of anger, un-forgiveness and jealousy. God, The Holy Spirit will take the old heart of stone (bitterness, broken and wounded) and give you a new heart of compassion (sweetness, mended, and healed). Glory!!!

We received after Salvation, a New Spirit (The Holy Spirit). V. 27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My Statutes and you will keep and do them.” God informed Israel, and He informs us today that He wants to do a new thing within us. But before restoration, before return, we must be cleansed. The Holy Spirit, according to2 Thessalonians 2:13 sanctifies us sets us apart for the Master’s use. John 16:13 and 14 informs us that The Holy Spirit declares the things of Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 8:16 states: The Holy Spirit makes intercession to God on our behalf. And lastly, John 14:15 declares: The Holy Spirit is our Comforter.

Wouldn’t one have to be out of his or her mind to not allow The Holy Spirit into their life?
