Purpose Statement 
    Our purpose as a Church, as a Body of Believer's for being in existence, is centered in the statement on our Sunday Morning Bulletin.


It states:
    FAITH Walk Christian Church in Ontario exists to raise up a committed people, holy in lifestyle, victorious in faith, self-sacrificing in service to the King of kings with one focus, to see people everywhere come to personally know , love and live for Jesus Christ.

    Our purpose has nothing to do with building ministries, acquiring properties or gaining a name for ourselves individually or as a Church. If God happens to allow any of the above to occur, it will be at His doing and for His glory.

    We are here to point all people to Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  His Word clearly states in John 12:32, "and I, if I am lifted up from the earth. I will draw all peoples to myself."

    There are no big I's and little u's here at FAITH Walk.  In fact, we are all little u's and there is but one BIG "I" and His name is Jesus.

    We must be living epistles for the world to see Jesus in our actions and conversations.  It is not enough to say we love Jesus.  People who are lost must be able to see truth, righteousness and the peace of Jesus in our lives, that is our purpose for existence.  The world is full of part-time, partially committed so-called believers.

    Jesus says in the Word, "I come that you might have life and that you may have it more abundantly."  That is our purpose for living.  That the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth might live abundantly in and through us.


    We are clear about our purpose.  We are a spiritual boot camp (II Corinthians 10: 3-5 and Ephesians 6:12)-a training facility, if you will, for those tired of church as usual.  A place where committed Christians wanting more than 6 steps to material gain can come together and learn how to recognize the enemy's attempts and stand against them.  A sober place!


    Lastly, our purpose as a Church is to storm the gates of hell and be used by God to set the captives free.  Not attempting to store up treasures for ourselves on earth, but to receive true treasures, such as a lost loved one or friend come to personally know,love and live for Jesus.  Is there "no  "greater treasure?
 
    There are too many eternities at stake for us to be distracted.  We must maintain our focus and press on toward the mark of the high calling which is Jesus Christ.  This is our purpose.
